Hydronix 20 Micron 10″x4.5″ Big Blue Sediment Filter
Description
The Hydronix 10″ Big Blue Sediment Filter is the economical replacement for the Liquatec SDF-45-1020 Filter. This Hydronix Sediment Cartridge is a 20 micron filter that is also known as part number SDC-45-1020. The 10″ Big Blue Filter contains graded density that provides higher dirt holding capacity more than standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. Constructed with 100% polypropylene, this filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like rust, sediment, sand and silt. This water filter is ideal for commercial, industrial, food service and residential applications.
The Hydronix Sediment Filter is integrated with a true multi-stage depth filtration that is binder free, surfactant free and adhesive free. Utilizing 4 separate layers of micron filtration, as the outside-in flow allows the outer layer to trap larger sized particles, this sediment filter results in a much lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters. The Hydronix Big Blue Filter features a coreless design that is an inexpensive solution to pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon filters (also known as GAC filters). In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-45-1020 filter cartridge, this Hydronix sediment water filter is an economical replacement filter for the Pentek 155359-43 and the Watts FPMB-BB20-10 Sediment Water Filter.
