The Hydronix 10″ Sediment Filter Cartridge is the same 50 Micron rated water filter cartridge as the Liquatec SDF-25-1050 Sediment Filter. Made with 100% polypropylene, this sediment cartridge is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like rust, silt, sediment and sand. This Hydronix water filter has four layers, outside-in flow and step-by-step 50 microns that effectively retain particles while extending the life with a lower pressure drop.

Also known as part number SDC-25-1050, this sediment filter is widely used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. Made with 100% polypropylene, this filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like sediment, silt, rust and sand. The graded density of the Hydronix 10″ filter cartridge provides a higher dirt holding capacity over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. The operating temperature of this cartridge is 40 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Hydronix polypropylene water filter cartridge will fit filter housings requiring a standard 10″ sediment filter cartridge such as Pentek, US Filter, American Plumber, Ametek, Culligan and other standard housing systems. For optimum performance of your filtration system, change your filter cartridge every 6 months based on usage and water quality. Without adequate disinfection, do not use this Hydronix 10″ sediment cartridge filter with microbiologically unsafe water.
