Description
The Hydronix 10″ Big Blue Sediment Filter is the identical replacement for the Liquatec SDF-45-1050 Filter. This water filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like rust, silt, sand and sediment. The graded density of this 100% polypropylene filter provides higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. Also known as part number SDC-45-1050, the Hydronix 10″ Big Blue is a 50 micron filter that is surfactant free, adhesive free and binder free. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-45-1050 cartridge, this Hydronix sediment filter is an economical replacement filter for the Pentek 155357-43 and the Watts FPMB-BB50-10 Water Filter.
Integrated with true multi-stage depth filtration, the Hydronix Sediment Filter is ideal for commercial, residential, industrial and food service applications. Using 4 separate layers of micron filtration, as the outside-in flow allows the outer layer to trap larger sized particles, this Big Blue water filter results in a much lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters. The coreless design is an inexpensive solution to pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon filters (also known as GAC filters).
